Produced by Jim Beam at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky. This limited release expression from the Basil Hayden range takes their high-rye Kentucky Straight Bourbon and finishes it in California red wine casks, adding layered fruit character and added depth while maintaining the brand’s signature smooth style.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Ripe red berries, toasted oak and caramel with hints of baking spice.
Palate: Notes of dark cherry, plum and soft tannin layered over vanilla, toffee and gentle rye spice.
Texture: Medium-bodied with a smooth, rounded mouthfeel and subtle wine-driven richness.
Structure: Balanced bourbon sweetness complemented by red fruit depth and light oak tannin, finishing softly with lingering spice.
